Terms of Sale

What you pay for on REPS, to whom, and what happens when a session is cancelled.

1Who sells what

On REPS there are two kinds of sale, and the seller is not the same.

  • REPS sells to coaches a subscription to use the tool (article 2).
  • The coach sells to their clients their sessions, group classes, session packs and coaching packages (articles 3 to 7). REPS is not a party to these sales. It only provides the booking, payment and coaching tool.

2The coach subscription

Three plans, with no commitment.

  • Free, at no cost, with limits (schedule open 7 days ahead, limited number of sessions).
  • Pro, €24.99 per month, or €249.90 per year.
  • Pro+, €39.99 per month, or €399.90 per year.

The yearly plan costs 10 months instead of 12. The details of each plan are on the Pricing page.

Paying. On the website, you pay by card with Stripe, monthly or yearly. On iPhone, you can also take Pro monthly in the app, with your Apple account. The first payment is taken on the day you subscribe, then on the same date each month or each year, until you cancel.

Changing tier. Moving from Pro to Pro+ takes effect right away and you only pay the difference for the time left. Moving down from Pro+ to Pro never happens right away: you stay on Pro+ until the end of the period already paid, then you move to Pro and are billed for Pro. Nothing from the current period is refunded. Until that change has happened, you can cancel it with “Stay on Pro+”. What you have already sold carries on to the end (article 7).

Cancelling. From your billing area for a Stripe subscription, or in your Apple account settings for an in-app purchase. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, with no refund for the current period. Refunds of an Apple purchase follow Apple's rules. If a payment fails and is not settled, your account goes back to Free.

Complimentary plan. REPS may offer you a plan for a set period. At the end, you go back to your usual plan, with no charge that you did not choose.

Invoices. You'll find your subscription invoices in your billing area, or in your Apple account.

No right of withdrawal. You subscribe to REPS for your coaching business, as a professional. The 14-day right of withdrawal is intended for consumers, so it does not apply to your subscription. You can cancel it at any time, and it stops at the end of the period already paid. Before paying on the website, you tick a box that confirms it. You say that you're buying for your coaching business, that you want your subscription to start right away and that you give up your right of withdrawal. Without this box, the payment doesn't open. In the iPhone app, the purchase goes through Apple, which applies its own rules.

3Paying your coach

When a client pays online for a session, a class, a pack or a package, the money goes directly to the coach's Stripe account. It never passes through REPS.

  • No REPS commission. The coach keeps 100% of the price, minus Stripe fees.
  • Stripe fees (around 1.5% plus €0.25 for a European card) are deducted by Stripe from the coach's account.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, a licensed payment institution. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. REPS never sees or stores any card number.
  • To take payments online, the coach opens their own Stripe account (Pro and Pro+ plans). This account is theirs, they log in with their own details and keep it if they leave REPS. Stripe verifies their identity. REPS never has access to their identity documents.
  • Prices are set freely by each coach and shown before you pay.
  • A duplicate payment, or one received for a booking that no longer exists, is refunded in full, automatically.
  • If the coach's Stripe balance goes below zero, for example after a dispute or a refund, Stripe contacts the coach and recovers the amount from them. REPS never takes anything from a coach's account.
  • If the coach removes REPS's access from their Stripe account, their online payments stop and their clients pay them in person. Anything left to refund on a payment already made is then settled directly between the coach and their client.

A session marked “to settle with the coach” is paid directly between you, outside REPS. The refund rules below then do not apply, and you sort it out together.

4Cancelling or missing a session

Only sessions paid online are covered by these rules, which are the same with every coach. Everything else is between the coach and their client.

  • You cancel more than 24 hours before. You are refunded the price of the session, minus the fees Stripe actually charged on that payment.
  • You cancel less than 24 hours before, or you don't show up. Your coach keeps 30% of the price, never more than €30. The rest is refunded to you, minus Stripe fees. The rule is the same whether the absence is excused or not.
  • Your coach cancels. You are refunded in full. Stripe fees are borne by the coach.
  • Your coach moves the session to less than 24 hours before it starts. If you then cancel it, it counts as your coach cancelling. You are refunded in full, and the Stripe fees stay with your coach. For any other move, nothing changes money-wise.

For example, for a €50 session cancelled the day before, your coach keeps €15 and you get back €35, minus about €1 in Stripe fees. The exact amount is always shown before you confirm. REPS keeps nothing from these amounts.

Stripe never gives back its fees when a payment is refunded. That's why they are borne by whoever cancels. A refund usually takes a few days to appear on your card.

When the cancellation can't be done online. The refund always comes from the coach's Stripe account, never from REPS. If that account doesn't allow it (not enough money on it, part of the payment already refunded by the coach themselves, account restricted or disconnected, Stripe refusing), the cancellation does not happen and the session stays booked. The coach and their client then sort it out directly between them. REPS never refunds in the coach's place and never tops up a refund.

A gesture from the coach. A refund or goodwill gesture the coach makes themselves, from their Stripe account or in person, only concerns them and their client. REPS does not take it into account.

5Group classes

Each place paid online follows exactly the same rule as a one-to-one session.

  • More than 24 hours before the class, you are refunded, minus the fees Stripe actually charged.
  • Less than 24 hours before, or if you don't show up, your coach keeps 30% of the price, up to €30. The rest is refunded to you, minus Stripe fees.
  • You can cancel online until the class starts. Your place is then offered to the waiting list.
  • If the coach cancels the class, each participant is refunded in full.
  • If the cancellation can't be done online, the same rules as for a session apply (section 4).

6Session packs

A coach can sell a number of sessions in advance (for example 10 in-person sessions). The pack is paid in one go, and what is paid is final.

  • Validity. The pack is valid for the period chosen by the coach, starting from the day of payment. It is shown to you before you pay. No session can start after the pack ends.
  • You cancel more than 24 hours before. The session goes back into your pack.
  • You cancel less than 24 hours before. The session is lost.
  • Your coach cancels. The session goes back into your pack.
  • No-show or something unexpected. It's up to your coach and you to work it out. Your coach can add sessions for you if they wish.

A pack is never refunded through REPS. A withdrawal (section 7a), a refund or a goodwill gesture is settled directly with your coach.

7Coaching packages

With the Pro+ plan, a coach can sell a coaching package. They set its name, length, price and what they follow, part by part (training plan and workouts, nutrition and meals, weight and measurements, photos, habits, check-ins, exercise videos). Messages are always included. What is included is shown to you before you pay, and a part your coach doesn't follow stays closed. Your coach can also offer you coaching made for you alone, at €0, which you accept without paying.

  • It is paid in one go, online to the coach's account, or in person if the coach doesn't take payments online. In that case, the coach opens access once it is paid.
  • A new package starts after the current one, never at the same time. You lose nothing that you have already paid for.
  • Your coach can extend your package without charging you, or end it earlier.
  • At the end, you keep read access to your measurements, photos and statistics, with a summary of each past coaching period.
  • If your coach downgrades their subscription, even because of a failed payment, your current package runs to the end. They cannot sell a new one until they are back on Pro+.

Refunds and disagreements. REPS never refunds a package, it never holds the money. Any adjustment, withdrawal included (section 7a), is settled between your coach and you. If your coach ends your coaching early, or closes their account, what is left of your package is sorted out directly with them. REPS calculates nothing and refunds nothing pro rata. In the event of a dispute or a refund made by the coach, your access stays open, and REPS does not arbitrate. Before their first sale, the coach acknowledges being solely responsible for the coaching they sell. If they stop a package before the end, what they give back to their client is settled between them.

For the parts that relate to your health (weight and measurements, photos, nutrition, check-ins), your consent is asked when coaching opens. Without it, they stay closed and your coach cannot follow you on them. The details are in the privacy policy.

7a. Your right of withdrawal

  • A session or a class on a specific date. This is a leisure service on a fixed date. In principle it has no 14-day withdrawal period (article L221-28, 12°, of the Code de la consommation, the French Consumer Code). The cancellation rules above apply.
  • A coaching package or a pack. Before paying online, you tick a box to ask for it to start right away (article L221-25). You keep 14 days from the payment to change your mind. Your coach, who sells you this package, is the only one bound to respect this right and their own terms. REPS stays out of it, calculates nothing and refunds nothing. To withdraw, write directly to your coach, in the chat or by email, from your space. We keep proof of your request to start right away (date, text and version).
  • Paid in person. REPS does not handle the money. For a withdrawal, deal directly with your coach.
  • Offered free (€0). Nothing is paid, nothing is to be refunded.

After 14 days, withdrawal is no longer possible. Your rights against your coach remain fully intact.

8When a coach stops

  • A coach can close their account at any time, except while an Apple subscription is still renewing. As soon as they request it, their upcoming sessions and classes are cancelled as if they cancelled them themselves, refunded in full, fees on them, if they had been paid online. Their running coaching packages and packs stop.
  • As soon as they request it, their page is no longer visible. Their account is deleted 30 days later, and they can change their mind during that period.
  • Closing their account does not remove their commitments to their clients. What is left of a paid coaching package or pack is settled directly between the coach and their client, who receives the coach's email address to reach them. REPS calculates nothing, refunds nothing pro rata and does not arbitrate.
  • A coach who is ill or injured is not at fault. The coach and their client sort it out between them, for example by resuming the coaching later. REPS asks for no medical proof and does not arbitrate.

When a coach no longer takes your bookings. A coach can stop accepting your bookings with them, for a while or for good. What you have already paid for and used stays as it is. Your upcoming sessions and classes with them are cancelled, and refunded in full with the fees borne by the coach if you paid for them online. Coaching or a pack in progress stops. REPS refunds nothing on its own for that coaching or pack, what you paid is settled directly with your coach. Nothing changes with other coaches.

9Invoices

For a session, a pack or a package, the coach is the seller, so the coach is the one who invoices. If they turn on invoices in REPS, an invoice is created in their name for each payment received, and a credit note for each refund. They remain responsible for their content and for their tax obligations, VAT included. Invoices and credit notes are kept for 10 years.

10Disputes and complaints

A disagreement about a session, a pack or coaching is settled between the coach and their client. REPS is not a party to their contract, does not arbitrate and never decides an amount to be refunded between them. If it considers it useful, REPS may pass on to both of them the information it holds, without this committing it to the outcome.

The client keeps the protections of their card (disputing a payment with their bank) and their legal remedies against the coach. The coach alone answers for payment disputes on the payments they receive, from their own Stripe account, as they accept when they turn on online payments. REPS does not answer for them and decides nothing.

For a question about your REPS subscription or a technical payment issue, write to contact.reps.coaching@gmail.com. We reply within 48 working hours.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute with REPS, we first look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.
